Tried deleting and reinstalling the sound driver to no avail. I needed to get good mic input for recording training videos for our cad team, so I got drastic and uninstalled the B&O app from control panel. I've waited to make sure that the issue does not recur and thus far it has not. It’s not a powerful machine, but it will get the job done as a capable laptop for college or business use. Sound plays for 5 seconds then fades to nothing. A screw in the laptop or the cooling fan has become loose. DDR4-2133 SDRAM, 12 GB (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB) Grafikkarte.
